DAKOTA SIZER Service Pack 5

Purpose for Update
This update file upgrades existing DAKOTA SIZER installations to V.2.00.016 and adds the following feature(s):
If you have DAKOTA SIZER V.2.00.014, this upgrade adds the ability to save to .jef/Janome format.
The following dialogue box will appear while saving to .jef format. Additionally, this upgrade
adds more shades and more color names to our DAKOTA Color Chart, found in the coloring palette.
If you have DAKOTA SIZER V.2.00.007, this upgrade also adds the following .pes format hoop
sizes when performing a 'Save As' (this feature already exists in V.2.00.014):
• 7.087 inches x 5.118 inches
• 6.299 inches x 10.236 inches
• 10.236 inches x 6.299 inches
To determine which version of Dakota Sizer you have, start the program and click on 'Help' and then 'About'.
NOTICE: DO NOT INSTALL THIS UPGRADE ON A MELCO SIZER INSTALLATION! IT IS TO BE
USED ON DAKOTA SIZER INSTALLATIONS ONLY!
Installation Instructions:
1. Download the file
2. Close all open programs
2. Locate the file on your computer and double-click on it
3. Click 'OK'
4. Service Pack 5 will unzip to c:\dakotasizersp5 folder
4. Double Click 'Setup'
5. Follow the Installer prompts
6. Allow all screens to close by themselves before you click anything

This file could take over an hour to download over a dial-up connection.
The DAKOTA Color Chart, while included in Service Pack 5, is also available here separately for those who do
not need the full service pack but do need the Color Chart update. To install: 1) download the file, 2) double-click
on the file to run the self-extractor, and 3) move the extracted file (dakota.tch) to the appropriate folder (see illustration).
