Registration

Setting Up an Online Account
Registering for an online account with Dakota Collectibles is easy! To start the registration process click the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the Home Page. (To make sure you are on the Home Page click our logo in the left upper hand corner). After clicking the Register Button, click on the option that applies to you.

NOTE: If you purchased from Dakota Collectibles in the past, and you select the second or third options, we must already have your email address entered into your account. If you have not given us an email address, please contact us at 1-800-331-3160 before continuing.

New Customer Registration

BILLING and SHIPPING INFORMATION

Accurately fill in your billing and shipping information. Please make sure your information is correct, including your e-mail address. If your billing and shipping information is the same select the check box in the shipping section to save time. (NOTE: We do not buy or sell customer information)

Note: Valid Email Addresses are letters and numbers in the following format only: yourname@yourmaildomain.com. Special characters are not valid.

PREFERRED SHIPPING METHOD
Decide whether you want your designs shipped via UPS, emailed or downloaded.

UPS Shipping- select "3.5" Diskette" as your Default Media Type. (Although, Compact Disk [CD ROM] is an option, it is usually limited to larger Design Libraries).

As your Default Shipping Method, select either UPS Ground (This is our Standard Shipping Method - $6.00 for orders under 5 lbs.) or UPS Blue ($11.00 for orders under 5lbs.).

For catalog orders, please select UPS GROUND for $6.00. Additional S&H charges will be applied for catalog orders that include two or more catalogs. Additional S&H charges will be applied for catalog orders specifying UPS Blue.

Email or Download - select "Internet" as your Default Media Type. Select either "Email" or "Download" as your Default Shipping Method

Note: Not all items can be downloaded or emailed, such as, catalogs, Dakota Sizer/AlphaSizer, larger Design Libraries, and Catalogs on CD.

MACHINE INFORMATION
Machine:	Select your Embroidery Machine
Software:	Type in the name of your Embroidery Software (i.e., EDS4, PE Design, Palette, Disk Manager, Customizing, etc.)
Format:	Select the format you need your designs in
Max. Width:	Sewing Field Width - use a whole number to indicate the width of your sewing field in inches. Do not use any punctuation or symbols. For example, for 6 inches, type in 6 (Do not type in 6" or 6.5, etc.)
Max. Height:	Sewing Field Height - use a whole number to indicate the height of your sewing field in inches. Do not use any punctuation or symbols. For example, for 6 inches, type in 6 (Do not type in 6" or 6.5, etc.)

Note: The Max Width and Height fields help prevent you from purchasing designs that are too large for your sewing field. The numbers do not have to be exact.

COMPUTER INFORMATION
Please indicate if you use Microsoft Windows, and if you have software to unzip .zip files, such as WinZip.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION (Optional)
A credit card is needed for online ordering. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

LOGIN INFORMATION
Username: Establish a User Name. User names are limited to ten - Characters
Password: Establish a password. Passwords must be greater than five, but less than eleven characters.

Remember that our user names and passwords are case sensitive. Choosing and answering the Password Question will allow you to retrieve your username or password in case you forget them. If you forget just your password click on login, enter your username, and click on 'Forgot Password'.

Click Save Customer Information
